Bicycle Film Festival-First time in Mexico City (Video)

The Bicycle Film Featival, entering it?s 12th year, has become a world wide sensation not only providing amazing bicycle related films but also uniting local bicycle communities with live music venues, group rides, outdoor block parties and art shows.

In cities like New York, LA, Milano and Paris the festival has reached a happy plateau and comfortably landed in the fabric of local cycling event schedules.

However, in cities like Moscow and Mexico City the festival has been an exposive catalyst, bringing new energy to blossoming bike culture.

This is similar to the way critical mass tells a different story in various cities from mundane running its course (San Francisco) to two thousand strong rides with pro basketball players. (Miami)

Founder of the festival, Brendt Barbur, sent me a prime example of the festivals power with this video from the festival in Mexico City (November 2012)
